Two mixes for you all by The Diamond Age and Erik Westra. [Editor's note: I broke these two mixes into different posts with the new format but you can find Matt's mix here.] Both zip files include a playlist of the tracks. The Diamond Age totally gets a big gold star by his name for knocking out a second mix for Bird and Whale. Mr. Westra’s mix is one mix in 4 “movements” with a total of 17 tracks.

I’m a little hesitant to post both of these at the same time fearing that one or the other won’t get the attention it deserves. On the other hand it’s kinda cool because Mr. Leer and Mr. Westra kinda remind me of one another despite having never met. And they both put a Jesu track in their mix so that got to mean something, right?

Otherwise, lots and lots of music these days passing through my brain. Went and saw Battles and OOIOO. Both shows were at the ‘bottle and both were super good. This track made me hallucinate at the Battles show. Also did video projections at Heaven with Who Cares Long You Sink, which turned out real well. Lots of nice feedback from folks. Been picking up lots of good music lately too so birdandwhale 002 mix shouldn’t be too far off.
