Another autumnal mix from mister Need Windam. Definitely comes at the right time as things turn a little cooler around these parts. A little something to lift the spirits. Need definitely pulls together sounds that are off my radar. A lot of raw, kinda playful jams with a nice attention to detail.

Went up to Madison as forecast last weekend and recorded a new Lobisomem EP. Went really well. Big up to Beau Sorenson for engineering as well as Tall Corn for everything under the sun. I’ll keep you all posted as the records actually go through the 29 stages of making it out into the world.

Just finished up my little Tuesday night video projection residency at Rodan with Jeff Parker, John Herndon, and Josh Abrams. Went really well. Many thanks to them for all the amazing music. (As well as Tomeka Reid and Jaimie Branch who sat in one week.) It was a real pleasure to try and put a visual accompaniment to their music.
