• Paul Duncan – Not I Sir

  • Not I SirHere’s a mix from Mr. Paul Duncan. It’s American 70’s folk rock.  A collection of mostly mid tempo singer/songwriter stuff.  It has an nostalgic quality about it which is weird cause I don’t think I actually listened to any of these musicians growing up.  But yeah, a very specific spectrum of tunes for your autumn afternoons. Dig it.

DJing in support of Pillars & Tongues and my good friends Bear in Heaven tonight at Zebulon.  Full court press picking out the jams.  Should be a good time.  Please come by.  It’s free.

Otherwise, life in Bushwick is good… or at least getting better.  I should mention as a follow up to my last post that I’ve made it to Glendale Bagel a couple of times.  Awesome.  Very legit bagels.  Very comforting.

On a culinary side note, I brought my good friends Laura and Wes, who were in town from DC up to Flushing, Queens last weekend.  I had some of the best noodle soup I’ve ever had in my life.  Oxtail Noodle soup from one of the little food courts on Main street.  Phenomenal.  If none of this music stuff works out, I may just move to Flushing, Queens and focus on eating.

Got a pretty huge facelift for Bird & Whale in the works.  Stay Tuned.  I think you’ll really like it.
