I never know what to say anymore with these little intros. I used to try and describe the mixes but that often seemed like an exercise in futility (since most of these mixes cover a lot of ground). Sometimes I liked to give a little context for how the mixes came my way, but I’m not sure if that’s particularly relavent to most folks.

Also, I liked to have the opportunity to editorialize a little bit about shit going on around me or the world. Somehow all of it seems a little too overwhelming to get into these days. It’s like I either want to write a massive treatise on the state of world, or write nothing at all.

This sounds like a little bit of rant. I don’t mean it to. I think I’m trying to figure out where Bird & Whale is headed. The whole idea of a personal blog seems somehow, suddenly, a little antiquated. That being said, I’m super proud of all the material that is assembled within these walls and recognize that it needs to continue.
