Hey friends. Excited to announce that the Lobisomem EP that I recorded is getting released this Tuesday, February 23, 2010 on Tall Corn Music. There’s been a little bit of rigmarole getting it out into the world as there often is with this sort of thing, but please pick up a copy for you and your loved ones. I know that a healthy majority of those of you who are reading this already have a copy of my EP, but please consider spreading the word to friends and foes. It would really help me afford my rent if some folks purchased this bad boy.

As a foray into posting shows that I’m interested in (and not performing) this is a good one. I’m a huge fan of Bear in Heaven. They are good friends of mine and have made my transition to Brooklyn as an old man much easier. Josh Garza (of Secret Machines) is an old friend of mine as well. Used to go see Comet play all the time around DFW metroplex back in the day. I’ve never seen Secret Machines, but Josh was a tour-de-force in those days and I’m sure his skills have only grown in the last fifteen years.

I’m afraid I’m not familiar with the other bands on the bill, but I liked what I heard via the internet.

Helado Negro are my boys. Roberto sings and plays guitar. Ajemian plays Bass. Jaytram plays drums. etc. They always put on a good show. You should try and make it out.
